Privacy Policy: Invoice FX Fee Checker
This privacy policy covers the Invoice FX Fee Checker Chrome extension, published by Founder Setup.
What the extension does
The extension compares what you would receive for a foreign-currency amount via Wise versus a typical bank wire, using exchange-rate and fee assumptions you can edit. You can type an amount into the popup, or select an amount on a page and use the right-click menu to pre-fill the popup.
Data collection: none
The extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:
- Amounts, currencies, and assumptions you enter are processed locally in your browser and never sent anywhere.
- Text you select for the right-click menu is read only to parse the amount and currency, then discarded; it is kept in your browser's local extension storage only long enough to pre-fill the popup, and only on your device.
- The extension makes no network requests of its own. The only outbound link is the optional Wise button, which opens Wise's website in your browser like any normal link.
- No analytics, no tracking, no cookies, no accounts.
Permissions used and why
- contextMenus: adds the right-click "Check true cost" option for selected text.
- storage: holds a selected amount on your device so the popup opens pre-filled.
The extension does not request access to read your browsing history or the contents of web pages.

The popup includes an optional button linking to Wise. If you open a Wise account through that link, Founder Setup may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not affect the estimates shown.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
